Ciara is letting you in on some of her secrets. The “Sweat” singer took to Twitter to share 10 things about herself. Some you may already know and others may come as a surprise. For instance, did you know that she hates to be called the “Princess of Crunk&B? She also fears not falling in love and having a family. And the sports fanatic wakes up and falls asleep watching ESPN.

She has been in the studio recording her Epic Records debut One Woman Army and is getting ready to release a new song called “Sorry” on August 20. She posted some of the personal lyrics on Twitter. In addition to working with Hit-Boy, Jermaine Dupri, Rodney Jerkins, Soundz, and Tricky Stewart, she was recently in the studio with Mike Will Made It (2 Chainz’ “No Lie”).

In the meantime, get to know CiCi a little better.

@Kyle, yes sweat is a buzz single, Sorry will be her 1st official lead single. She will shoot 2 videos so that means 2 singles, Sorry & Boy Outta Here Feat Rick Ross or either OWA( the song).

I’m excited to hear the new song. I heard L.A. Reid said the new album is going to drop around Thanksgiving time. I hope that sticks because we all know that the 4th quarter brings in a lot of heavyweight releases.

Wait a second though, I thought she used to call herself the Princess of Crunk-N-B, or was at least ok with Jazze Pha & others calling her that. So now that “crunk” isn’t hot anymore you want to be “R&B/Pop”?

Sorry but it doesn’t work like that. If you take on a title, you better be ready to be called that for the rest of your life.

For all of you that don’t know, Sweat was not an official single. It never got sent to radio or put on itunes, so it must’ve been cancelled as a single. This new single, “Sorry” is the 1st official one. I hope this song was the right choice singe wise. Epic has no more room for mistakes (Sweat) honestly.
On a lighter note, I love that Ciara is opening up more about herself. It makes her seem relatable. Hope she does more things like this list throughout the week until Sorry drops.

I’ve loved Ciara ever since she 1st came out, and I still love her till this day.

All she needs is the right team and promo. I love the fact that after all these years she hasn’t changed 1 bit.

It’s sad that the world doesn’t see the talent she has. This girl can sing, dance, model, act, and even RAP!

I can’t wait till the new album comes out.
