She made you dance with her debut single “Don’t Fail Me Now.” Now “X Factor” winner Melanie Amaro shows off her powerful pipes on “Love Me Now” off her forthcoming debut, due this fall. The 20-year-old songstress, who landed a $5 million recording contract with Syco Music/Epic Records, yearns for some lovin’ on the soulful ballad. Give in to her demands.

I didn’t like her on X Factor. It’s not that she’s not talented, but I feel like America voted for her simply because she had a BIG voice. Some, at the time, were already crowning her as the next Whitney Houston. This song is certainly better than the last released, but it’s got a lot of growing to do on me. She has a pretty voice, but I’m not a fan of hers per say.

This song is a change of pace, but Simon & LA will push her to that dance/europop audience. And those fans tend to buy music in droves.

I have a feeling Marcus Canty, Rachel Crow, Chris Rene and Josh Krajcik will all be outselling Melanie when the albums are released.

When she “unleashed” her accent midway the show, the judges had these crazy looks on their faces, like “Bitch, we told you to keep that shit under wraps.” I remember talking to people who were immediately turned off by the fact she concealed it, even in her first audition.

Unfortunately she just can’t get it right. I don’t even see this making it into the top 40 billboard, let alone Itunes. Luckily she has a 5 million dollar contract BECAUSE I honestly don’t see her making it if she is going to keep releasing these outdated songs. Smh.
& I voted for her on X Factor -_-
Come harder Melanie!

I like Her Voice, but yet she has a struggle to find what materail fits !!
I think she needs a persoanl music producer cause all her songs she has put of is not doing her justice at all !!!

im sorry but Simon Cowell has lost his touch. If you look at EVERY singing show he’s done he picks THE SAME SONGS for the female artists..songs from Whitney, Mariah, and Celine..hes so predictable. Last year’s X Factor truly revealed his lack of knowledge when it comes to MUSIC..he should truly stick to the marketing process because his musical taste is less than stellar. I hope Melanie can break through and create some hits, but the way Simon is putting her out there, it will be hard to find her own identity as an artists.
