Rap-Up.com || Video: Dawn Richard – ‘Wild N’ Faith’ [Trailer]

Dawn Richard sees no evil in the first of three cinematic trailers for her short film “Wild N’ Faith,” a mash-up of “Faith” off her EP Armor On and the bonus track “Wild N’ Young.”

The former Dirty Money member dons several looks in the Eugene Lee Yang-directed video. “I am the goddess of faith sent to restore faith in my apparitions,” Dawn told Rap-Up.com, referring to the three warriors who star alongside her. “This carries the modern day Joan of Arc theme for Goldenheart. Each outfit carries a look of armor.”

The video will premiere August 28, while Dawn’s full-length album Goldenheart is due October 16.

i really admire that dawn is moving into a much more conceptual space, creatively with her music- i love that. but the styling & execution of her vision is lacking & seems very forced. i want her to win, but her vision is bigger than her team. she’s gonna outgrow them as an artist, if she hasn’t already. keep pushing dawn.

@Carlton, You taking this way too seriously I thought the same thing when I first seen this preview for the fact that Drake and Rihanna are in front of the same backdrop in take care. And when I first heard faith it gave me take care not the whole song but just the little drop at the end of the song before the last chorus. But besides all that I love faith the other song wild n something doesn’t do anything for me.

But a guy kneeling with wires plugged in him reminds you of drake and Rihanna holding each other in the take care video. That’s a reach.
