2 Chainz Talks Album Sales, Katy Perry, & Killing Weaves on 'The Breakfast Club'

With his album poised to debut at No. 1 next week, 2 Chainz stopped by the “The Breakfast Club” on Friday. The Southern MC spoke about the projected first-week sales of his debut Based on a T.R.U. Story (130-140,000), the Illuminati rumors, other artists remixing his songs, the passing of his father, and his love for Katy Perry.

The Hair Weave Killer also complained about the cost of replacing a woman’s weave. “It’s like a G [$1000] now. It’s not cheap,” said 2 Chainz. “I almost commend women who pay $1000 to get their hair done. You slick ballin’, that’s [the same price as] a pair of red bottoms. So, for me, let’s try and ration this out. You don’t want to do three or four a week or [else] you be paying some mortgages.”
