Iggy Azalea digs into the crates and unearths the soulful “Burgundy Sh*t.” The piano-driven record, produced by D.R.U.G.S. (“Pu$$y”), was recorded a while back.

“A long time ago i made this. then i found it tonight. i still like it,” tweeted Iggy, who will hit the road with Tyga, Ca$h Out, and Kirko Bangz on the “Closer to My Dreams” tour starting September 4 in L.A.

She is also working with Diplo on her next mixtape TrapGold. “TrapGold is an era, its more than music—its a complete style. everything about it,” she told her Azaleans.

@SaucyMcblast, no one is saying that. It’s the way she chooses to rap. Rappers like Chipmunk are from the UK, they don’t rap with an American accent, because that is not them. Iggy puts on this fake accent, studied and mastered the slang and throws it on a track. That gives her very little credibility. I mean, what is her story? What is her message? “I am Caucasian and they’re giving me a hard time because of it.”? No, no one is giving her a hard time based on race, we just don’t feel the gimmick. Come as you are, not as you expect us to want you to act like. I believe Iggy genuinely loves hip hop and rap music, I don’t believe she should have pursued it as a career. She’s beautiful, but not talented enough and needs to seriously improve and start thinking out of the box a little. Not when it comes to looks, ’cause she has that, but her lyrics, delivery and subject-matter need a serious change.
