Azealia Banks

Azealia Banks has given fans a taste of her music with an EP and mixtape, and now she’s ready to serve the full course. The hip-hop provocateur has announced a release date for her debut Broke With Expensive Taste.

The first full-length album from the 21-year-old Harlemite will arrive on February 12, 2013 via Interscope Records. “Broke With Expensive Taste will be out first quarter of 2013 on Feb 12. (2/12),” she tweeted.

While it may seem like a long ways away, she has plenty to keep her busy in the meantime. “I have ALOT of REALLY excitin ish happening in btwn! it will ALL make sense as these things start to unravel. The #KUNTBRIGADE will b proud!” she said, referring to her fan base.

Banks released her EP 1991 in May featuring the singles “212,” “Liquorice,” and “Van Vogue.” Her free mixtape Fantasea followed in July.
