Leona Lewis stirs up some “Trouble” with actor-turned-rapper Childish Gambino (Donald Glover from NBC’s “Community”) on the second single from her oft-delayed album Glassheart, due in October. The British songstress warns her lover about her less-than-angelic side on the edgy ballad, written by Emeli Sandé and co-produced by Naughty Boy and Fraser T. Smith. Childish Gambino adds a dark verse to the record, which was reportedly inspired by Leona’s break-up with boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa.

@Um.Well.Sure, Girl bye!!! I’m just not feelin this song. I just think you should model, because people aren’t feeling your music anymore. One hit wonder!!!
I was not expecting to like this as much as i do. i hate when rappers are added but Childish Gambino verse was the icing on top of the cake. i don’t think it’s lead single material tho it’s a good album filter
Ugh. It pains me to see how poorly Leona is managed.
EVERYONE likes Leona’s voice, style, and beauty.
But ever since “Bleeding Love,” it’s just been nothing but crap singles given to her. I could see this doing okay in the UK, but not going to be successful in the US.
@Mike, I get what you’re saying, but I actually listened to the song all the way through and was just left unimpressed. I think it’s because I have heard what her voice is capable of (thanks to X-Factor) and her music seems to not showcase her true talent.
You people need to stop taking minajrules2012 seriously. All he or she is a bored person at home entertaining themselves with your responses. And definitely stop talking about nicki minaj in a bad way just because of that one person.
I like it – thanks to Childish Gambino. But she has a amazing voice and I’m British and I’ve watched her go from X Factor to one of the best albums to come out of British R&B…
Does anybody else think she has a similar voice to Mariah Carey? She always gets compared
@Be3000, Yeah I’ve always thought that; they both have a high range. This girl needs to get a cover girl endorsement or something because she is gorgeous.
I’m rooting for Leona because we all know her voice is remarkable and I think the material she chooses really showcases her voice. She’s so underrated. It makes sense that Emeli Sande wrote this and Naughty Boy produced it because it seems like it could’ve been on Emeli’s album. British soul singers are doing their thing these days. Adele, Leona, Emeli Sande, Rebecca Ferguson, Lianna La Havas and the list keeps going on. I love it!!!
:( Her voice is so speacial and beautiful to waste! this song would have suited the writer, Emeli Sande better actually. She and her team need to get it right.
