Video: Dawn Richard – ‘Wild N’ Faith’![]() Dawn Richard transforms into a warrior goddess in the high-fashion video for “Faith” and “Wild N’ Young” aka “Wild N’ Faith,” the third and final visual from her No. 1 EP Armor On. In the concept-driven clip, the former Dirty Money diva goes to battle, losing the fight and restoring faith in warriors that have lost their way. “I am the goddess of faith sent to restore faith in my apparitions,” Dawn told Rap-Up.com. “This carries the modern day Joan of Arc theme for Goldenheart. Each outfit carries a look of armor.” Since leaving Bad Boy, the now independent Dawn’s path has mirrored the video. She has had to hear no evil, speak no evil, and see no evil. The short film, directed by Eugene Lee Yang, serves as the segway into Goldenheart, the first album in her trilogy, due October 16.

@Queen Kimmy Blanco, Because technically they are.. If you listen to any Dawn’s EP or her mixtape you’ll notice that every song plays into another. It’s actually really dope.

I HAVE BEEN GIVEN LIFE ABUNDANTLY WITH THIS VIDEO!!! I was a little disappointed in “Automatic” because I wanted her to play the story out but she gave me EVERYTHING I wanted from this short film… God is going to take her so far because this show of raw talent and imagination is EVERYTHING the R&B game is missing right now. There’s no individuality, no one is going against the grain and making their own path (with a few exceptions) musically and image wise. She’s going to be MAJOR. ALSO TO BE NOTED, SHE’S STILL NOT SIGNED. “You not a believer?”

The styling works on the dancers but not on her.
If her stylist reads this:
In order to make her stand out she should have done a more minimal approach on the acc’s and head piece. The warrior Idea has been done so many times. The head piece is too big and the shape is not very flattering. The eye make up is overloaded and does not add anything interesting to her facial features…In general I understand that she tries to be edgy. But in order to break the rules you have to know them!!!!!
It’s not my type of “music” but I see her trying hard! She is a fighter!

Have an unwarranted, opinionated seat. No one asked you for any of that…………………
What success have you had that gives you the authority/jurisdiction to say she and her stylist didn’t do it “right”??? :/

@B. Goldn,Took the words right out of my mouth. The styling, location choreography and concept for Bombs was perfection. Automatic was gobshyte, the song n all but this. This was great (not as over all cohesive as bombs but the faith video was the closest thing to bombs level with the added message. Wild n Young would have been better without the dancing and less Dawn. It really just needed the story of the battle and a glimpse that alluded to Dawn being the fighter.

I’ve said this 1000 times already, and I’ll say it again, I like Dawn, but it seems as if everything she does is “OVER DONE”.
She has talent for days, but there’s a difference in being “different” and TRYING to be “different”.
This video reminds me of Kelis’s “Flesh Tone” era all put in one.
Dawn can no doubt make some hits, but when it comes to “visual”, she does TO MUCH.

I love dawn the video was great I read these comments and it terrible that her video looks of thought; really ?? I’ve seen so many concept done over time just to be repeated …..for instance the whole lemme call another artist who featured on my track and we go party in a club concept or the infamous love saga visual ….come on her video is all her I guess alejandro wasn’t over thought or what about marry the night that video was 13 mind of whats?? To except what new and drag we need to rod our mind of what’s been done before and what’s “noted” and to just take things as they come its either good or its bad …and I say this is fantastic

Hey waterheads THIS IS NOT A GOOD VIDEO IT S CHEAP WITH NO SENSE
THIS IS NOT ARTISTIC THIS IS DELIRIOUS AND STUPID / UNDONE DOESN T MEAN GOOD OR ARTISTIC
It s all about brain washing and it seems to work lol
She will never leave her mark in music and art cause her talent is too light, she s not untalented at all : but too much light
I like it bold and impressive like Beyoncé Knowles, who is a GENIUS even if she s a stupid illuminati
