Ciara Reveals ‘Sorry’ Video Still

Ciara

After unveiling the single artwork, Ciara gives us a first look at the video for her new single “Sorry.” The physically-fit singer stands in the shadows as the sun sets over the hills. The video was shot in Malibu earlier this month with director Christopher Sims (Cassie, Ne-Yo).

“1st Sorry Video Screen Shot. #SorryVideo On the Way! Happy Labor Day Weekend!” tweeted CiCi, whose album One Woman Army is due this fall.

The emotional song was written and produced by Jasper Cameron (“Promise”). “It’s a very, very real record,” said CiCi.

wow. some of you guys make this site unbearable.

Im glad that her team (ciara) knows the video should be released before the song cuz people are gonna eat it up when it drops whether they like it or not. THEY WILL BE in attendance commenting.

anxious for them both cause Her videos be “like that” tho

  12. Truth

Im not trying to hate or anything but it seems like Ciara and her team arent sure about songs to release. Sweat was supposed to be the first single then was scrapped now were about to get a mid or slow tempo song instead of the Uptempo track her fans deserve. This is the same problem that happened with Fantasy Ride and Basic Instinct. Unless this song is groundbreaking then i think Ciara wont get the sales she so desperately needs. We need some shit thats going to break necks cmon ci ci get it together!!!!

  13. Creative Minds

This video still looks like it came from the Speechless video lmao wow Ciara enough with this basic bitch image come with something new. Im telling you she should have just stuck with “Sweat”. If the video was released for that i guarantee you she would have had a big hit.

  14. Action

I really think most Ciaras fans have given up on her already i doubt this time around will be different from the other ones especially with a wack video still like this. This video still does absolutely nothing for me shes just standing there looking at the sky. Give us something to make us excited i know im not the only one whos thinking this right now. Im just really disappointed you know.

Ciara and her team are VERY SMART… Radio stations have the song already, unlike in the past where it took her songs forever to make impact on the radio… they’re just waiting for her to press play, and on top of that releasing the video before the song is beyond genius, because videos are what draws peoples interest

  16. TheDreamer

Can’t wait. Please release the video or song within the next week Ciara! Otherwise the hype will die down and people won’t be checking for it.

  17. Bye

Just 26 comments in this post. Goes to show you that not a single f**k is given. There is no hype for a Ciara comeback at all her album will flop again

@Bye, RapUp just did a post about the song “Livin It Up” by Ciara and it was #1 on “Most Read” for about a whole week.

And it’s obvious a single “f**k” was givin by you since you did click on the post.

@Bye, I never said you said you didn’t care, with the right promo and right label behind her, Ciara can do just as well as the next b*tch.

    Truth Hurts Reply:

@coMEaTmEbRO, Is that song “Livin it Up” anywhere to be seen on the billboard charts tho answer that for me. NO!!! Ciara had some of the most read stories when Basic Instinct came out but it still flopped. Most read stories on rap-up do not equate to album sales lmao

    [Reply]

    coMEaTmEbRO Reply:

@Truth Hurts, But that’s where you make yourself look stupid, If a song isn’t released as a single does that mean it’s still suppose to chart? No.

And yes “Basic Instinct” did flop, but if you were a singer and didn’t have the label behind you 100% then I bet you would flop as well.

Ciara did that whole era by herself, why do you think she left the label after being with them for 3+ years?

And don’t speak the obvious to me when your clearly just as stupid as the next person.

WOW a still from a video from a song that we havent heard yet. WTF is her team thinking? The promotion is so backwards.

We know everything about the song except we’ve never heard it. STUPID.

  22. J.

It’s not so much that the song hasn’t come out yet its that we don’t know WHY it hasn’t come out yet. From that lil countdown up to 8/20 thing she was doing on Twitter, the impression was that the song (not the damn single cover, of all things) was coming out that day. No one’s given any explanation since then regarding the delay. Eh, on the bright side, at least the same writer who worked on Promise is involved in this as well.
