It’s mixtape season. Following the release of Lil Wayne’s Dedication 4, A$AP Mob’s Lord$ Never Worry, and Slaughterhouse’s On the House, Big Sean delivers his highly-anticipated mixtape Detroit. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper calls on J. Cole, Chris Brown, Kendrick Lamar, Jhené Aiko, Tyga, Young Jeezy, and Juicy J for the 16-track follow-up to his 2010 tape Finally Famous Vol. 3: BIG. @Ice, How does lil Wayne have anything to do with big Sean again?? Wayne already been established. The dedication 4 was just like 2, fire! Wayne rippin thru beats having fun, flexing on rappers. Big Sean releasing original music trying to get to Wayne level. Until big Sean mix tape shut down websites, don’t compare

@Mrunhateable, waynes day has come and gone, every song he makes is the same verse, same delivery, same content, same boring shit. D4 is trash dont kid yourself…that is unless youre 12 which im guessing you are if u think wayne is “flexin on rappers.”
Detroit is classic stop hatin

I don’t care for the intro
“24k of Gold”,”What I Gotta Do” and “How I Feel” is pretty dope
The stand out tracks are defiantly “100″,and “I’m Gonna Be”(Shouldda saved those for the albums).
The only bad tracks were the Yung Chop produced tracks
Overall its worth a download

@Mrunhateable, Funny how record sales, downloads, and pure hype make ignorant consumers believe something is better because of “doing numbers” and “shutting down the internet.” I don’t know what was a freestyle and what was written, doesn’t matter. Big Sean is clearly telling stories about his come up and personal experiences while Wayne is continuing with cliches, constant metaphors, and an overwhelming amount of bars about di** sucking and pu*** eating. I don’t think D4 is bad but in the world that we compare QUALITY and not NUMBERS, Big Sean won hands down.

You simply cannot base how good someone is on their record sales. So many of you are claiming that D4 is better because it’s been downloaded more and made websites crash, bullshit. That’s like saying Soulja Boy is better than people like Kendrick Lamar because he’s had more record sales.
