Rap-Up.com || Rihanna Remembers Grandmother with New Tattoo

Rihanna lost her grandmother Dolly in July, but she will always be close to her heart. During her trip to London, the “We Found Love” hitmaker paid tribute to her by getting a tattoo of Isis on her rib cage.

“Goddess Isis- Complete Woman – Model for future generations- #GRANGRANDOLLY – always in and on my heart #1lo,” tweeted RiRi, who had a close relationship with her grandmother, whom she affectionately called “Gran Gran Dolly.”

Isis is the Egyptian goddess known as the ideal mother and wife as well as the patron of nature and magic.

how do you guys know that this isnt just the way that she expresses her self. that getting that tattoo was the way she thought to symblify her grandmother permanently.she never claimed to be and idol or a role model, she’s just being herself and showing the world that no matter what happens she can push through her hard times and not let haters bring her down. she is an idol wether or not she was aiming for that when she started singing.she is my idol because when others would have let depression get the better of them as she did for a time she still pushed on through and still came out on top. she is amazing in so many ways and all of you who are being rude needs to stop. she did nothing to you or anyone that tattoo was not for you but for her grandmother its her body and she didn’t do it so that her fans could love her she did it because her grandmother meant a lot to her and i’m pretty sure some of you would have done the same thing if not the same tattoo and for a different person but i’m pretty sure at least on of you would get a tattoo in memory of someone who meant a lot to you.
