Rap-Up TV: Kevin McCall Talks ‘Definition’ Mixtape, Chris Brown’s ‘Fan of a Fan 2’Kevin McCall has been spending his time flexing in the gym and the studio. The singer-rapper-songwriter, who is signed to Chris Brown’s CBE label, is working on his debut album, but first, he plans to drop the 10-track mixtape Definition. “I named it Definition because I want this mixtape to really define who I am in the music game and define who I am as a person and as an artist,” he told Rap-Up TV at the BMI Urban Awards. “Things like crazy, cool, creative, I want all of those words to jump out at you.” Definition boasts appearances from Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, and Travis Porter. “It’s gonna be a good collective mix of R&B and rap,” he shared. In addition to his own projects, Kevin has been writing and producing for Chris and Tyga’s highly-anticipated mixtape Fan of a Fan 2. “Chris is on top right now, Tyga is at the top of his game, so I think it’s only fair to keep giving the fans free music,” said Kevin. Sidenote: I really hope ‘Fan of a Fan 2′ comes next year.Chris needs to promote ‘Fortune’ more.Chris should release 3/4 more singles off ‘Fortune’ before he drops ‘Fan of a Fan 2′.

He’s got one of the most huge and versatile potential of this industry. It’s KILLING me that he’s only doing mixtape.
PLEASE: album man, we’re tired of mixtapes.
