Ciara serves up a 30-second sneak peek of her cinematic video for “Sorry,” the first single off her upcoming album One Woman Army, due this December. Shot in Malibu, the full video will premiere tomorrow at 6 p.m. EST on VEVO.

The song is definitely going to be in the vain of “Promise” and “Never Ever.” I guess that’s an OK thing especially if she is planning to drop “Got Me Good” in the beginning of October which is supposed to be an uptempo record. She needs a crossover hit though and just by judging from this 30 second snippet it doesn’t seem like this song will come close to making the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.

@Kyle, Billboard Hot 100 TODAY in 2012 requires artists to make Euro-pop songs. If you look at majority of the songs on the chart they are POP influenced records. Back when Ciara dropped Promise in 2006 she was able to reach top 10 on Billboard Hot 100. That was during a time where you didnt have to make dance club music to appeal to crossover which you see alot of artists doing. However it doesnt rule out success. Beyonce didnt exactly cater to today’s current dance trend Billboard Hot 100 audience with her last album either but she still managed to scan over 1 million and go platinum. So dont count Ciara out. It’s all about the promotion she does and the exposure she has during this era that will determine the success of her singles and album. L.A. Reid is doing the right thing so far.

I can already tell this will definitely be CiCi’s comeback!! As a matter of fact, I PROMISE!!!!

My predictions are that it will be #1 on 106 n Park, it will be in top rnb charts, and maybe even top 200…

I remember when promise first came out, i wasn’t really feelin the song…then came the video, and it blew me away, then became one of my fav songs of all time!! I’m so anxious to see the full product…CiCi’s videos never disappoint!!
