New Music: Fabolous – ‘So NY’
Fabolous puts on for his city on his bold new record “So NY.” “I’m so New York, Weezy probably don’t like me,” raps the Brooklyn-bred rapper, referring to Lil Wayne’s recent remarks about the Big Apple.
He also calls out New York rappers including Diddy and 50 Cent. “You gotta go to L.A. if you lookin’ for Diddy/ You gotta check CT if you lookin’ for Fiddy/ Ni**as in Paris, but what about the city?” he asks on the cocky cut.
“No Diddy, no Dupri, no Dr. Dre, no Cash Money from Baby and no Rocs from Jay and I’m still here,” proclaims Fab.

That’s dope. And he’s right. He was never part of a big rap group or cosigned by a major artist (like most artists you can name today from Drake to Big Sean to Nicki to Meek Mill.
He’s good for a verse and a mixtape, on his album he just gets a little too romantic to get the credit he does deserve, but he does deserve credit.

I guess Fab forgot to add that DJ Clue helped him to get where he is, so he needs to stop acting like he had no help. Plus everyone knows Rocafella help DJ Clue get to where he was.
People don’t rate Fab because he puts out weak ass albums and his singles are corny chick songs except for Breathe.
