Rita Ora is stripping down for “MTV Unplugged.” The Roc Nation singer delivers an intimate performance in front of a live audience at MTV’s studios in New York City. In the first peek, she is backed by a band as she sings an acoustic version of her single “How We Do (Party)” off her debut album ORA, which topped the U.K. charts. The rest of her “Unplugged” set premieres Monday at 2 p.m. EST on MTV.

@YMCMB_#1STUNNA, you should know, Lil Wayne brain dead incoherent lyrics ass got a unplugged. Rita Ora has a lot of talent, ya’ll can keep hating on ole girl all you want, you’re not gonna stop her shine. 3 number 1 singles already and a number 1 album.
We need more people like her in the business, someone who can actually sing. Not gimmicky ass artist with butt surgery.

@Realist, Right! Every time a new, talented artist gets something going for herself, that means someone is working behind the scenes of her behalf. Don’t choke on that haterade!

@Realist, During that point & time Lauryn Hill will considered a “new artist”. In this day & age artist do not have many music outlets on TV to showcase their art. So you have to take the opportunities (MTV Unplugged) giving to you. She’s a talented artist, still fresh & growing… Give her some time to take over here in the States.

@CK Young, dawn richards is mad talented but that ep/mixtape whatever she released was a mess. too much production. her voice is dope, i wish she did stuff brandy never say never type stuff.
Rita ora should really do unplugged in at least 3 years time. this is weird. I’m sure her catalogue of music will expand just not right now

@A$$, Um actually pitchfork gave that EP a higher rating than signed artist. Said it was best EP this year. Brandy called her the future. The uk Gardian said Dawn was a pioneer for inde artist. So I’d say her EP was amazing. Prob just not your style of music. But that EP was farrrrrr from wack son. It’s actually incredible. Better than anyone out right now.

I’m also from the Uk and i think she is talented. The problem is they have forced the public to automatically like her which becomes annoying. She is great live and her album is solid.Give her a chance.
P.S. LOOOVE Dawn too.Looking forward to ’86′!

I thought OG’s & Legends were granted ‘Unplugged’ tappings but hey, Roc Nation is working hard to make her successful. Her album is growing on me by the day & she sounds amazing in this video. Good 4 her.

How in TF is she worthy of doing an Unplugged session. This is supposed to be for artist who inspire and are legendary. SHE IS NOT! Really MTV? I’m disappointed.
