Nelly Furtado kicked off her album release day by premiering the video for “Parking Lot,” and finished it with a live performance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” Backed by her band, the Canadian singer put a new spin on the horn-heavy Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins production, showcasing her island-inspired moves and bubbly personality.

The album, which features contributions from Nas and Salaam Remi, has earned praise from the Los Angeles Times, which wrote, “Ever confident of her allure both as a woman and an artist, Furtado on The Spirit Indestructible proves nearly untouchable.”
