Video: Lil Wayne – ‘Same Damn Tune’

Lil Wayne

In honor of his 30th birthday today, Lil Wayne rolls out a video for his remix to Future’s “Same Damn Time” off his Gangsta Grillz mixtape Dedication 4. In the DJ Scoob Doo-directed clip for “Same Damn Tune,” a TRUKFIT-sporting Tunechi shows how’s he’s evolved as a skateboarder while skating with the pros including Ryan Sheckler and Rob Dyrdek. He performs at the Street League DC Pro Tour and on the rooftop ramp at his Miami crib, but also makes time for his other passion, music.

The birthday boy received a very special gift, passing Elvis for the most appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo act thanks to his feature on Game’s single “Celebration.” He now has 109 entries on the chart compared to Elvis’ 108, while the “Glee” cast leads the pack with 204.

Funny thing is, Weezy doesn’t even have the highest-selling album by Cash Money Records…that’s the one that got him his FIRST Hot 100 entry.
