Rap-Up.com || Kendrick Lamar Performs ‘Swimming Pools’ on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’

Like Frank Ocean and A$AP Rocky before him, Kendrick Lamar made his TV performance debut on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday night. Wearing a black TDE hoodie, the new king of the West Coast dived right in with his single “Swimming Pools (Drank)” along with some help from ?uestlove and The Roots.

“This for everybody to understand me, I need you to recognize my plan B is to win your hearts before I win a Grammy,” said the Compton MC before performing the cut off his debut good kid, m.A.A.d city, due October 22.

Less than 24 hours after its release to iTunes, the album pre-order is already No. 2 on the Hip-Hop/Rap Albums chart and No. 12 overall.
