Rap-Up.com || Chris Brown Breaks Up With Girlfriend Karrueche Tran Over Rihanna

It looks like Chris Brown is officially single and back on the market. The R&B superstar has put an end to his relationship with girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

Chris made the announcement today: “I have decided to be single to focus on my career,” he said in a statement to TMZ. “I love Karrueche very much, but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”

This should come as no surprise given Chris’ recent cozy behavior around Rihanna—from their hug at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards to partying at the same nightclubs. Just last night, the former lovebirds were seen snuggling at Jay-Z’s Barclays Center show in Brooklyn.

Karrueche seems to have moved on as well. She recently tweeted “Bye baby,” a reference to Nas’ breakup song.
