New Music: LL Cool J - 'Ratchet'

  /  10.05.2012

Ratchet

Ladies may love Cool J, but he’s not a fan of the ladies; that is, if they’re ratchet. LL Cool J tackles the hip-hop slang-of-the-moment on the just-released “Ratchet.”

On the song, which he’s offering as a free download, Mr. Smith raps about a trifling girl who uses him for his material wealth. “But I ain’t Ray J, you ain’t Kim K./ Cancel the cameras, we can f**k all day,” he says.

LL hasn’t released a studio album since 2008‘s Exit 13 and has been focusing more on his TV roles like “NCIS: Los Angeles” and hosting the 2012 Grammy Awards. However, on his website, he does he tease “Authentic Hip-Hop Coming Soon!”
