Rap-Up.com || Oprah Weighs In on Chris Brown-Rihanna Reunion

The queen of good advice, Oprah Winfrey, is sounding off on reports that Rihanna has reunited with her ex Chris Brown. Her take? Don’t judge them!

“Are they back together?” Oprah asked “Extra” when questioned about the celebrity couple, seemingly shocked by the alleged reunion. “I don’t know if that’s true and no, I’m not surprised.”

The talk show queen wasn’t quick to pass judgement on Rihanna. “I think that if she is prepared to deal with that and is prepared to help him help himself then so be it,” she said. “I have no judgment about it. That’s why I can sit there and have such a great time with her because I do all my interviews with no judgment whatsoever. If that’s how you choose to lead your life, that’s really OK.”

This is a far cry from the advice Lady O had in 2009 following the physical altercation between Chris and Rihanna when she told RiRi to leave her abusive man alone. “If a man hits you once, he will hit you again,” she said. “If I were your friend, I would call you up and say give it some time. Get yourself some counseling.”

Oprah recently interviewed Rihanna in her native Barbados for an emotional episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter” during which the “Diamonds” singer opened up about her feelings for Chris.

“You know what I loved about that interview is that she came with a big wide open heart,” said Oprah. “She was in the space of forgiveness. And that she learned a lesson that she was repeating with Chris Brown—exactly what she needed to learn from her father.”

Wow, I see some aren’t too happy with Oprah’s comment! Yea, I don’t care for her, and that’s not the tune she was singing when it first happened! She dogged Chris and everything, even when he went to where she built that school to perform for her ragedy ass kids for free, and may I add, she didn’t pay for, he did! She did sit down and do an interview with Rihanna, and you could tell she didn’t like what she had to say! Maybe she changed her tune, either way,everybody is assuming and judging, niether Chris or Rihanna has released a statement saying they are back together. I still don’t care for Lady O, I do agree, who is anybody to judge, people need to stop living their lives through Chris and Rihanna. This happened 3 years ago… two immature 19 and 20 year olds. Chris Brown didn’t beat her ass on a regular basis. It was a one time thing, and who REALLY knows what happened in the car that night. I honestly believe Rihanna hid a lot of stuff, and she couldn’t forgive herself for ruining his career. Of course they still loved each other. Imagine EVERYTHING changing overnight between you & your significant other. I can imagine how hard it is to get over that. I am NOT a Chris Brown fan by far(I LOOOVE Rihanna), but let them do their thing! Who didn’t know that they were still screwing around anyway?!!! Gosh.
