Bruno Mars, ?uestlove, will.i.am, and Nicki Minaj

The wait is almost over. After teasing for over a year, hip-hop’s biggest stars are getting animated for the Season 4 premiere of Fox’s “The Cleveland Show.”

In the episode, entitled “Menace II Secret Society,” Cleveland discovers a secret hip-hop society fronted by Kanye West, who has previously appeared on the show as Kenny West. His cohorts Bruno Mars, ?uestlove of The Roots, will.i.am, and Nicki Minaj are seen wearing cloaks as part of the secret group that controls pop culture.

Executive producer Rich Appel explained the plot. “Cleveland inadvertently breaks into it and then it’s how he will either bring them down or they’ll bring him down,” he said. “We have a couple of original songs with Kanye and will and Bruno, I mean, all of them, it was great.”

The episode airs Sunday, October 21, at 7:30 p.m. EST on Fox.
