Miguel’s sultry sophomore album Kaleidoscope Dream proves to be a winner in and out of the bedroom, nabbing the No. 3 spot on this week’s Billboard 200 albums chart.
Fueled by the single “Adorn,” the R&B crooner sold 71,000 copies in his first week and claims the No. 1 spot on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The numbers best his debut All I Want Is You, which peaked at No. 37 in 2010. The album received rave reviews from critics and fans alike.
Elsewhere, DJ Drama lit up the streets and the charts with his fourth album Quality Street Music. The star-studded set, featuring Drake, Rick Ross, and Meek Mill, shifted 24,000 copies to enter at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the Independent Albums, Rap Albums, and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.
