Rap-Up.com || Album Cover: Nicki Minaj – ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded

Get ready for the return of Roman. Nicki Minaj has unveiled the cover of Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up. Due November 19, the album will contain songs off her sophomore LP Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded along with 5-6 new tracks including “The Boys” with Cassie and a collaboration with Lil Wayne.

The Young Money rapper rocks curly black hair in homage to her mixtape days on the sassy artwork. “lol that face matches the lyrics on the reup to a T!!!! lmao, wait til u hear it…u’ll completely get it,” she told her Barbz.

The “American Idol” judge has likened the music to her earlier material. “It’s more my mixtape feel,” she said.

When you use the exact same album title name for your second album you know you cant be taken seriously. Not only is she not creative, she doesnt get the fact that she lost many fans due to her going completely pop. She thought she would be gaining fans but the plan didnt work. That was the main reason she went pop cause she thought she would be selling more albums lmao epic fail. And what her fans/stans fail to realize is that even though Pink Friday RR sold 253,000 and went #1 the sales drop was massive and the album has only since sold 640,000 copies in the U.S. That is HORRIBLE.

Fan made album covers are taken from stills and photo’s that she’s done before. So we knew that this was gonna be more hip-hop so we sent her looking more “hip-hop” whatever that means. Anyways by her letting her fans choose the album cover she’s giving her fans a chance to be apart of her. So if all she cares about are her core fans and I quote from her verse in Girl on fire “and to my core fans, keep repping me, do it till the death of me [X](X in the box) cause aint nobody checking me”. So if she’s doing things for her core fans why are people who aren’t her fans always checking up on her post. She knows you guys are not gonna like it. but you sure will go listen to it.

Some of Nicki Minaj’s mainstream pop music fans never listened to Nicki Minaj’s old mixtapes. After Nicki Minaj changed her personalty, she started to change her music image, but the quality of her music became very bad, and downright terrible.

There is still time for Nicki Minaj to become serious about her music again, but you can make the arguement that her 15 mintues of fame is already up. It seems like Nicki Minaj only cares about making money off of Pepsi commercials, American Idol, selling platinum albums, and other endorsements instead of putting out quality music that is classic.

Certifications are set so that something like the “re-packaging” or “re-release” adds to the sells of an album so for example
Pink Friday Roman Reloaded: 300,000 sold
and lets say this re-release sells 200,000 then its added to that album and then she can be certified gold
