« Rihanna Announces New Album ‘Unapologetic’Album Cover: Nicki Minaj – ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up’ »Rap-Up TV: Brandy Talks Comeback, Frank Ocean, & Wedding BellsBrandy is back. Eighteen years after releasing her multi-platinum debut, the R&B veteran returns to the charts with her biggest hit in 10 years, “Put It Down.” But despite her latest feat, there was a time when Brandy didn’t think she would ever have success again in the music industry. “I actually thought it was over four or five times,” she told Rap-Up TV. “It’s been that dark for me at moments because when you’re off your path and you can’t find your way—you feel lost, you feel uninspired, you feel unfulfilled—to get this opportunity to reach my fans again and share music with them again, this is really a blessing.” Her sixth album Two Eleven features today’s top hitmakers including Sean Garrett, Rico Love, Bangladesh, Chris Brown, and Frank Ocean, who wrote “Scared of Beautiful.” “He’s just a genius,” she said of the Odd Future member. “The song that he wrote, it just speaks to the fear of being the best version of you, the best part of yourself.” Her current single, “Wildest Dreams,” was inspired by her boyfriend Ryan Press. So is Brandy headed down the aisle anytime soon? “I better see wedding bells in the future,” joked the 33-year-old singer, who would like to add a son to her family. “I’m focused on so much right now that even if I was to get my ring today, I wouldn’t be able to start planning a wedding until later.” However, she does plan to tour in February and is eyeing a collaboration with Kelly Rowland, but she’s just waiting on Kelly to find the right song. “I would love for it to be a groove, so we can kinda do choreography in the video and make it hot and unexpected,” she shared. Two Eleven arrives in stores and online Tuesday featuring the singles “Wildest Dreams” and “Put It Down” with Chris Brown. I’ve always appreciated Brandy but since ‘Put It Down’ i’ve fallen in love with her. This time round she isn’t producing boring/forgettable RnB.I can tell she has that hunger and she wants it bad.I’ve pre-ordered the album and i hope everyone shows out and supports RnB.I would love her too do 80+ first week considering she is RnB.
Come on people, lets support!

Brandy, I love Kelly and all and i’m #teamkelly and have always supported her throughout her career. Also, I have always emjoyed listening to your music growing up and watching Moesha but Kelly will have u waiting all year! My advice to you do not hold up your projects for her. As a fan to me she doesn’t really take important things serious. One thing I admire about u Brandy though is that u take your sh** serious and u understands tht it can easily be taken away. With Kelly I don’t get that… I know thts your friend and all but to me she just does enough just to get by and hope for the best. She really needs to bring it with this new album. Vocally, promotion wise and with her visuals. As for you I heard your snippets yesterday and your voice sounds beautiful. You sound absolutely amazing…. and the songs r so different. This is what r&b is all about. I will be purchasing on itunes come Tuesday. I wish you well with this upcoming album.

OMG…if her and Kelly collaborate I would be so excited. They would sound good on a track together. Kelly should think about that for her new album because it would make sense if she’s trying to cater to the ladies. I can’t wait for this coming Tuesday. I am going to buy TWO COPIES!
