Rap-Up.com || Tyga Purchases $6.5 Million Mansion

All those racks are adding up for Tyga. The Young Money rapper just snagged a $6.5 million mansion with 7 bedrooms, 8 baths, a movie theater, pool, spa, waterfall, sports court, and gym.

The swanky digs take up over 9,200 square feet in Calabasas, Calif. The stunning home also includes a gold-leaf entry dome, four fireplaces, multi-station camera security system, and an in-ground trampoline.

The 22-year-old MC has a lot to look forward to in his new home including celebrity neighbors Travis Barker and Justin Bieber, who just purchased a 10,000 square foot property in the same gated community. His Young Money labelmate Drake also has his own plush pad nearby.

Tyga has been embroiled in some real estate drama as of late. According to TMZ, a Malibu landlord sued Tyga, claiming the rapper bounced on his $16,000 per month rent while still living in the home. A rep for Tyga denied the claim and stated that he gave proper notice before moving.

Not to be a downer, but his career isn’t that hot. If he has 10 million bucks, he probably shouldn’t spend most of it on a house.

IMO, you shouldn’t start spending on big stuff til you know you’re career can last or you have enough to be comfortable for decades. Aka, don’t put out your first album, go on a couple tours, then think you’re untouchable. Especially if you’re album didn’t even go gold.

Tyga is a tour artist. Nobody is selling nowadays anyway thats why artists find other means to make money. You dont need a platinum or Gold album in order to get a house like that. Rack City went two times platinum and was a Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit. Most that money gets recouped from lost album sales. Tyga is sitting on a lot of money.

He might’ve spent a bit too much on this house, but don’t go thinking it’s going to ruin him. He’s a big member of the YMCMB now and it’s practically impossible for him to go broke as long as he can rap.

Almost 6 millions twitter followers. He CERTAINLY isn’t worth $1M. At the moment, he’s probably worth between $8-15M, but this will increase every year if he keeps producing so many songs and expanding his businesses (like shoe branding).
