« R. Kelly Reveals Chapter 23 of ‘Trapped in the Closet’ [Video]Lil Wayne Unveils Cover of Prison Memoir ‘Gone Till November’ »Bruno Mars Pulls Double Duty in ‘SNL’ Promo![]() Can’t wait until Saturday? Bruno Mars gives us a funny sneak peek of what to expect as he takes on hosting and performing duties on this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live.” Cast member Fred Armisen and Bruno perform a series of comedic bits, poking fun at the “Grenade” singer and his gig. Fred asks Bruno if he’ll be singing and dancing to which he jokingly responds, “Maybe…I don’t know!” Fred, deadpan, responds that the executive producer really needs to know and that he wasn’t being funny. In another take, Fred dubs Bruno a “hat guy” and laments that he needs a hat too before trying on several awful models. The two even do a singing number, in different styles, while Bruno plays the guitar.

That was a pretty good promo by Bruno Mars and Fred Armisen. I just hope that he is as good at hosting as he is with his music. Sadly, I won’t be able to watch the show live on TV since I will be working late at DISH. I set up my Hopper to record the show for me, so I am not worried about it. I have the last few shows on it, and I plan on recording the rest of the season as well since my DVR has plenty of recording space. I am looking forward to seeing Bruno perform and host!

Bruno is such a nice down to earth young man, I really hope more success for him with the second album because he deserves it, he will do great on SNL as a host and a musical guest.
