What she doesn’t know won’t hurt her. The Weeknd gives his love to a stripper when his relationship goes south in the moody video for “Wicked Games.”

In the black-and-white clip, the Canadian singer, born Abel Tesfaye, croons about falling for a stripper, but only to satisfy his own ego.

“Wicked Games” is already a favorite of Weeknd fans, but will be officially released as part of his Universal Republic debut Trilogy, which will feature music from his three mixtapes and is slated for release on November 13.

This video is so lack-luster. It kind of ruined the song for me. It looks lazy and the budget looks non-existent. I hope those three new songs are fire cause for some reasons, the re-mastered versions don’t KNOCK like the mixtape songs do.

I like the weeknd love his music but a few things

1. Get better looking girls to be in your video that chick with this bow tie hair is not cutting it or someone with rhythm at least

2. Comb you damn hair. You’re looking like you haven’t bathed in years.

3. Seek better concepts for your videos.

This video lets the lyrics shine. And @Raph is right. It is a Bram Stokers Dracula reference. She is beautiful, and it shows show she is seducing him. Her look is great! The symbolism is beautiful. He shouldn’t look clean cut and perfect when he is giving everything to a woman who doesn’t want him really, just his money. He is at a low point. Stunning. I love it.

You know what would be dope? If The Weeknd would rent a bunch of fancy cars, get some sluts in bikinis and smoke “hella” weed in his videos. Cause you know…that’s what real Hip Hop and R&B is about. Jeez, some of you people have no concept of visual art and what really matters for a MUSIC video, THE SONG! Which is definitely dope as fugg. Simplistic, black and white, artsy and beautifully shot with a FUCKING MODEL! I Naw, just throw some cups of lean and some palm trees and a ferrari in there. I agree with K. Courtney & Raph.
