New Music: Kendrick Lamar – ‘The Heart Pt. 3 (Will You Let It Die?)’![]() With his debut album good kid m.A.A.d city just a day away from release, Kendrick Lamar drops the third installment in his “Heart” series. The Compton rapper speaks to his fans and reflects on his journey to becoming one of hip-hop’s most celebrated new MCs. “I came, I saw, I conquered,” spits a passionate Kendrick on the Tae Beast-produced record, which features his TDE affiliates Ab-Soul and Jay Rock. “Will you let hip-hop die on October 22?” he asks. He thanked his supporters for holding him down. “This year. A roller coaster. Some rides had a few leaks. But you still was there 4 the final trill,” he tweeted. “Dont do it unless its from THE HEART…….And ill do the same.”

@G.O.O.D Music, Kendrick isn’t over hyped. He’s striking a chord with people. He’s relating to people and offering words of encouragement. Chief Keef is hyped. Azealia Banks (talented as she is) is hyped.
Kendrick is touching people with his music.

Dope! Copping the album!Album is classic and truly from the heart. Cinematic classic. Everybody should listen to it from start to finish at least once with an open mind. Kendrick is an awesome storyteller and he’s making soul music. I’m not with that Real Hip Hop vs Fake Hip Hop debate but Kendrick and the whole Black Hippy/TDE clique are making great music with a message. They’re standing for something real. Don’t just judge off Swimming Pools it fits in with the story of the album PERCECTLY.
OCT. 22 !! I’ll be coping mine and supporting a gifted artist
