Rap-Up.com || Rihanna Sets the World on Fire in ‘Diamonds’ Video

Rihanna is on fire. The pop starlet lit up the screen while shooting the apocalyptic video for her new single “Diamonds” over the weekend. She reunited with director Anthony Mandler (“Man Down”) on set in downtown L.A. for the dark visuals, which look like a scene straight out of a movie.

Wearing a sheer white dress, RiRi stood amidst a fiery blaze with destroyed cars as explosions went off around her in an alleyway. The fashionista traded in her short hair for a futuristic style shaved down the side and rocked a long black dress in another setup.

“Diamonds” is the first single off Rihanna’s seventh album in seven years, Unapologetic, due November 19. The song is currently No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100.

She may be a horrible live singer and lack a lot of depth in her songs BUT I must say that this song is a step in the right direction and she usually serves us great with the visuals.
