Brandy is back. The R&B veteran’s sixth album Two Eleven debuts at No. 3 on the Bilboard 200 chart this week, marking her first top 10 album in more than eight years.

Her first project for RCA/Chameleon Records sold 65,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Fueled by the Chris Brown-assisted single “Put It Down,” she also snagged the No. 1 spot on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The well-received set gives the 33-year-old singer her fourth Billboard 200 top 10 and second No. 1 on R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, following 2002’s Full Moon.

Her previous effort, 2008’s Human, sold 73,000 in its opening week, while the Timbaland-produced Afrodisiac entered at No. 3 in 2004 with 132,000.

“Brandy’s return to music in such a big way is incredibly rewarding and I believe this album has changed the face of R&B, bringing new beats to old school sounds,” said Breyon Prescott, CEO of Chameleon Entertainment and producer of Two Eleven. “I am so proud Brandy trusted me to make this incredible album with her and am grateful to Peter Edge and Tom Corson for believing in the vision.”

R&B fared well elsewhere on the chart, with Miguel’s sophomore LP Kaleidoscope Dream moving up from 11-7 (22,000 units).
