Samsung spared no expense to launch its newest tablet, the Galaxy Note II, at a private event in New York last night. Hip-hop heads and techies piled into Skylight at Moynihan Station for a free concert from Kanye West.

Dressed in all black with gold chains around his neck, the hip-hop heavyweight performed for over an hour for a star-studded audience that included T.I., Kid Cudi, Meek Mill, Jennifer Hudson, Childish Gambino, and more.

He delivered something old (“Jesus Walks”) and something new (“Clique”), and surprised with his G.O.O.D. Music affiliate 2 Chainz, who hit the stage for “Birthday Song” and didn’t leave without yelling his trademark catchphrase: “Truuuuuu!”
