Dawn Richard showcases some onstage and offstage moments leading up to her big show at S.O.B.’s in New York last week. The former Dirty Money diva rehearses her new single “’86” in a backstage dressing room with her dancers before hitting the stage, where she performs her Armor On singles “Bombs” and “Faith.” She leads her team in a prayer circle and greets her fans, who she calls Hearts.
Dawn recently signed a deal with Altavoz Distribution and moved the release date for her full-length debut GoldenHeart to January 15 to accommodate a physical release.
thats good that she is able to move forward like she has unlike the other girls from her group, but she has a better advantage, she was in another group and got her more exospores and a better running start at a solo career, while the other girls were still signed to a deal even though the group disbanded

@AmbeRussell, The other girls were let go of their contract. Dawn was the only one who was forced to stay on Bad Boy. So technically, THEY had the head start. It’s just that Dawn was blessed with an opportunity to learn from & work with a mogul. *shrugs* Everbody has different paths.
Actually she was the last signed to bad boy. Oslo the others girls were released from there contract. See how people have no clue. She actually just got out her contract. She just is an amazing artist. She had to work twice as hard babe
@Pereezy YMCMB MMG, What is the point of this. Like has nothing to do with how amazing she is. What’s sad is that this is why talent is being over looked. Why artist like her should be bigger and aren’t. Cause of dumb comments like this
@pereezy Why would anyone say something like that? You are awful and unnecessary. Even if you don’t like her as an entertainer, what you wrote was quite unnecessary. Really?
Love her style ! She is a performer ! We haven’t had those in a while. She reminds me of MJ. Her work ethic I mean. A dancer. Writer. Singer. Performer. Perfectionist. Like a package artist. She can be huge!
BEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAWN IS NOTHIN TO PLAY WITH!!!!!!! SHE SHOWIN THESE INDUSTRY BRAUDS HOW ITS DONE!!!!!!!!! THE HEARTS were TOO amped!!!!!!!!!
I was there and it was awesome! I got to meet her before the show too (I’m in the video) She is so down to Earth. She is an amazing artist with a kind, humbling spirit. I won’t ever forget that night and the fellow “hearts” I met.
