Rap-Up.com || Miguel Makes Music with Beyoncé

Is Miguel cooking up a collaboration with Beyoncé? The “Adorn” singer was reportedly in the studio with the pop superstar over the weekend. He teased fans by posting a photo of himself and a makeup-less B, who rocked a ponytail and low-cut black top as she posed alongside her fellow Virgo.

“…woah. creating for Virgo’s all weekend,” tweeted Miguel before deleting all evidence.

Fans of both artists were excited about a potential collaboration. “Whoa!! Epic!!” wrote one of Miguel’s Instagram followers, while another chimed in, “Please do a song together so I can die happy!”

In addition to his own albums, Miguel has written for Usher and collaborated with the likes of Kanye West, Alicia Keys, and Nas.

Beyoncé has been logging studio time to record the follow-up to her 2011 album 4. As next year’s Super Bowl halftime show headliner, don’t be surprised if she has new music to debut by then.

LOL at calling Miquel C-List, dude is extremely talented and is one of the few artist sticking to true r and b while Chris Brown, Usher,etc out here making techo and skipping around in their videos.

If Miquel is C-List, what the hell are you. Dude is making money doing what he loves, while you’re probably stuck at some dead end job hating your life.

@neesha, but clearly you don’t know anything about Miguel’s music if you’re saying he’s “constantly singing about sex,” the majority of his songs are about love. Even if you only heard his singles, I don’t see how you could come to the conclusion that all his songs were about sex. Quickie was the only single about sex (Sure Thing,Adorn,Girls Like You,All I Want Is You,Do You,The Thrill) they’re all love. So maybe you should check facts. Or just not comment at all. Anyway, I’ve already given you more attention than you deserve, just actually listen to the music first before you comment.

@yooo, honey fall back! she was one of the major artists that brought MAJOR attention to frank ocean by having him pen a song for her album. Miguel has been out for 3 years now so he isn’t by any stretch the “hottest new act” you’re just slow. Miguel is dope doing what he does & Beyonce is THE dopest doing what she does. Why wouldn’t they work together? By the way, NOBODY in the industry today is setting trends, THEY all are recycling ideas that have been done in the past … example: the echo effect Miguel uses in Adorn was done 7 years ago by Justin Timberlake on his FutureSexLoveSounds cd.

I will take it. Collaboration or not. If he writes and produces a nice sexy record for her, I KNOW I’d love it. If they collab on a song together, I KNOW I’D LOVE IT. I’m all in. Kaleidoscope Dream is awesomeness, so I’m all ears for anything new he dreams up.

No way! I’m really trying not to be jealous right now. Ha! I would probably pass out if I did a duet, let alone write a song that Beyonce sang! That’s freakin awesome! Can’t wait to hear what they come up with!!! Now that I think of it, just for fun, it would be awesome to hear Beyonce do her own interpretation of Adorn! :)
