Kendrick Lamar’s collaborations with Lady Gaga were left off his debut good kid, m.A.A.d city due to creative differences. And just when it looked like the tracks may never see the light of day, Gaga drops the original version of “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe.” The pop superstar can be heard singing the hook on “The LG Mix,” which clocks in under three minutes.
“We feel bad about killing your vibe, so here’s the demo you never got to hear,” said Mother Monster.
Listen to K-Dot and Gaga’s duet below.

Kendrick did it better without her honestly. But, she did her thing. But, I’ll take the Kendrick version alone over this.

im guessing it was HER label that didnt want her to release this with her on it bc this would’ve been a dope track and kendrick would’ve gotten even MORE exposure.

@Issa, Yeah, I know what you mean. Kendrick’s voice on the hook sounds like one something out of DragonBallZ.

Actually like this, she sounds so much like Lisa Stansfield (90′s UK Singer “Been Around The Whole”) is gave me chills. Hit all the lows and everything. This would have been a different look for her. To bad they decided not to use it.

Original is 100x better. Kendrick’s comedic voice matches the lyrics, especially the part about feeling energy from 2 planets away. At least he sounds like an alien.

Album version is much better. Also, Gaga’s vocals sound a bit louder than the beat and Kendrick’s vocals.. #shrug

LOVE THIS . One of my fav trax on the album, now this ”remix” I call it, is good too!
[Reply]
November 8th, 2012 at 5:35 pm
Gaga *was* on the original track. She only sang the chorus vocals and the breakdown bridge at the end; that’s why she wasn’t accredited. (Btw, sounds amazing on it). Vocalist are rarely accredited. Her version wasn’t bad, but I love the album’s better.
