Rap-Up.com || Rihanna Performs ‘Diamonds’ and ‘Stay’ on ‘SNL’

Rihanna returned to “SNL” for the fourth time as musical guest this weekend. Wearing an oversized camouflage jacket, camouflage camisole, and Timberlands, the pop princess delivered the first televised performance of her hit single “Diamonds” using a green screen backdrop. As computer graphics of peace signs, palm trees, and planets flashed across the stage, RiRi belted out the epic tune.

For her second performance, she debuted “Stay,” one of the cuts off her new album Unapologetic, which features Mikky Ekko. Paying homage to her idol Bob Marley with her dress, RiRi put her voice on display during the simple set.

My girl Rihanna killed the other night on SNL!!!! I can’t get enough of Diamonds and I really like the new song Stay!! Stay is so different than anything that I’ve heard her do. Can’t wait to get this album!!! :)

I had to hear stay again I don’t know if Rihanna and Chris r togather but take it from a older person u only find true love once in your life and maybe twice if your lucky. So he should feel lucky to have someone Love him unconditionally shit I would make a stop in NY too after hearing her sing that knowing it’s about me u can fake anything when it comes to your heart . I didn’t like her performance for ‘Diamonds’, but I loved the second song. The green-screen nonsense didn’t look so great, especially with her backup singers. I was working late at DISH the other night, so I was unable to see it when it aired. A while ago, I set up my Hopper from DISH to automatically record the show so I could watch it when I got a chance. Its nice being able to have the entire season on my DVR with more than enough recording space left. I’m sure that she will be the musical guest again in the future, and I am really excited for Maroon 5 this weekend!
