New Music: Astro – ‘Methods’

Astro

Astro captured the attention of America on “The X Factor,” but if you thought his 15 minutes were up, think again. The Astronomical Kid shows off lyrical skills well beyond his sixteen years on “Methods” off his upcoming mixtape Deadbeats & Lazy Lyrics. The Brooklyn MC delivers a confident and cocky flow on the self-produced cut.

“If I ain’t in your top 10, then what’s the purpose?/ I’m right behind the nicest, tell Hova I’ve been lurking,” he boasts.

Signed by L.A. Reid to Epic Records, Astro is prepping his debut for release next year.
