New Music Premiere: The-Dream – ‘AK47’

1977

The-Dream brings the heat on “AK47.” The platinum hitmaker compares his girl to his gun on the killer track, which appears on his fourth album 1977, set to be released commercially on December 18.

“Girl, you remind me of my AK47/ Shots in the dark, two eleven,” sings The-Dream, who was named Executive Vice President of A&R at Def Jam Records.

The project, released under his given name Terius Nash, includes new and previously released material from his 2011 mixtape, with appearances from Pharrell (“Real”) and Big Sean (“Ghetto”).
