Video: WZRD (Kid Cudi x Dot Da Genius) - 'Teleport to Me, Jamie'
Kid Cudi travels into another dimension in the leaked video for “Teleport 2 Me, Jamie,” a single off WZRD’s debut album. The trippy visuals were shot earlier this year, but just surfaced online.
The G.O.O.D. Music rapper and Dot Da Genius called on some special effects wizards to help bring their vision to life. Mr. Rager, who wrote the song about his real-life girlfriend Jamie Baratta, filmed one scene in an infinity room that’s meant to look like outerspace. In another setup, a shirtless Cudi channels his inner rock star while jamming on an electric guitar.
“It was about when he was on tour traveling and he just really missed his girlfriend and he talked to her and he wished she could physically teleport to him wherever he was,” said directing duo Walter Robot. “We were trying to exemplify it by infinity, like you can’t ever fill that space when somebody’s gone.”
