Rap-Up.com || New Music: Alicia Keys f/ Maxwell

Alicia Keys and Maxwell set off sparks on their electric collaboration “Fire We Make,” produced by Pop & Oak (Elle Varner, Nicki Minaj). The Grammy winners take it to the bedroom on the slow-burning duet off Alicia’s new album Girl on Fire, available November 27.

“With the fire we make, it’s getting hotter and hotter/ Like a moth to a flame, I can’t stay away,” coos Alicia, while Maxwell seduces as he sings in a falsetto.

It’s getting hot in here.

I can dig this! Like someone stated earlier…I’m getting excited again about her album. I too was a little disappointed from what I’ve been hearing from Alicia Keys, but this **** here!!! HOT! Also…I thought Maxwell was suppose to make a pt. II to BlackSummersNight??? What happened to that? Does anyone know?

NOW im going to get the album i was promoting that this was going to be my first album i wasnt getting from mama keys but you just sold me the album! im already seeing the future you need to put out a rerelease of this album like nicki with songs like this, so i can get both!!!!!

This is BY FAR this best thing she has released so far from this era. This gives me hope for the rest of the album. “Not Even The King” is in far second place and everything else is just BLAH.
