Rap-Up.com || Nicki Minaj Is Pretty in Pink at Macy’s Fragrance Launch

Nicki Minaj returned to her hometown of Queens, New York, for the launch of her fragrance “Pink Friday” at Macy’s. The “Freedom” rapper was dressed head to toe in her favorite color, rocking a curly blonde and pink wig. She greeted her Barbz before heading to Power 105 for an interview with DJ Clue.

“Had a blast @ my fragrance signing. Thank u guys so much for coming out!!!!!! Queens baby!!!!!!” tweeted Nicki.

The Young Money diva plans to launch her own label with artists including Brinx and British singer-songwriter Parker, who is featured on The Re-Up.

“It’s exciting because I think that I’m finally in a position to open doors for other people and it’s a great feeling because I feel like they’re so, so talented,” she told the AP. “Parker, he’s actually from London and he’s a writer, producer, singer … and I’m going to be putting out music with him at the top of the year. … Brinx was someone that I knew for a long time. I was rapping with him before I even got a deal and his skills have always been so exceptional.”

@HHMMM, That Pop Music is successful.. As long as it’s successful & cohesive with sound thats out..Super Bass, Starships & even Va Va Voom are well produced tracks that were successful, so why not make them? But I do agree that Nicki’s strength is in rapping!

So she can be taken serious as a “Female Rapper” not as a rapper that can only have success with pop music. I would really like her to win a Grammy with a true RAP SONG like all rap no pop or singing just rap

I think she has alot of potential, especially in business, her Pinkprint is definately coming into a reality. I can picture her becoming bigger than just a “Rapper”, and btw that lacefront is FUKED UP! Why can I see her ROOTS? and why is her hairline blonde?

I like Nicki too but she looks really tired and worn out. You can see the exhaustion through the makeup. She needs to take time for herself and relax at least a month without any work.
