Rap-Up.com || Keyshia Cole Duets with Ashanti at New York Show

Keyshia Cole celebrated the release of her new album Woman to Woman with a show at Best Buy Theater in New York City last night. The Oakland songstress surprised her fans when she brought out Ashanti to perform their new duet for the first time.

“I’ve got a special guest tonight,” said Keysh before Ashanti appeared onstage for “Woman to Woman.” The ladies showed their tight bond, embracing at the end.

Keyshia is plotting a “Woman to Woman” tour for 2013. “I want powerful singers, Brandy, possibly, Melanie Fiona, possibly,” she told the Los Angeles Times. “Just singers that can really blow but also have some things and records out right now. We’re working that out right now, so that could be a February-March.”

This is a beautiful collaboration. Ashanti & Keyshia were the last two big acts in R&B that still stick to their R&B roots and don’t cross over to pop. The song is classy and woman should follow this, better than fighting the other woman…

All haters on this site need to fall back. The “Woman To Woman” song is currently #15 on the R&B itunes charts after being released yesterday and it’s not even a single. Like I said b4, their chemistry together is amazing!!!!
