Rap-Up.com || Beyoncé and Jay-Z Cheer Nets to Victory

After attending the Nets vs. Clippers game on Black Friday, Beyoncé and Jay-Z were back on the court to watch the Brooklyn team take on the Knicks at the Barclays Center on Monday. Hov kicked it in camouflage pants and a Nets cap, while Bey rocked leather leggings and blue heels. The famous couple cheered their team to a 96-89 victory in the first New York matchup of the season.

“The city is under new management,” tweeted Jay, who is co-owner of the Nets.

Okay, to be politically correct, doesn’t Jay Z have the lowest amount of shares of the Nets? Dude has like what 5%? The only reason why they give him so much press for the Nets is because he’s helpin bring in $$$.

Guaranteed inside the board room Jay probably has little to no say in business operations lol

@YMCMINAJ, and his “lowest” 5 % is more than your 0% so why are you commenting? Actually his stake in the ownership is 35% & the organization knows that he can get asses in the seats. It’s no different than jennifer lopez’s stake in the miami dolphins except jay is reppin’ his hometown. anything else?

@YMCMINAJ, I think he has more say than you give him credit for because he is the one bringing in the money. He has the hot spot in the arena, pushed for the design of the uniforms, etc. They know if J stops pushing for the team their investment loses value. There is an article on this on the web. It’s a good read. So no, he is not the equivalent of J-Lo with the Dolphins. He means much more in that he takes the lead in terms of the image and marketing of the team.
