Giddy up! Just in time for the holiday season, Karmin puts a whole new twist on The Ronettes’ Christmas classic “Sleigh Ride.” The funky remix gets a makeover for 2012, complete with a rap verse from Amy and vocals from her fiancé Nick. The duo also shot a video for the record, which is being used in Coach’s holiday campaign.

“We were looking for one that we thought nobody had done or over-covered and then we also wanted to find one that we could put our little Karmin reggae twist with rapping on. And that was the one that worked,” Amy told Ryan Seacrest of their song selection.

The YouTube sensations will release their full-length debut in 2013 and have plans to put out a Christmas album, just not this year. Karmin will also ring in the new year with a performance on “Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Years Eve.”
