Her freaking album is so good, and it gets better and better with each play. I am not surprised because I expected good but it is going to end up being great. Alicia delivered with this one, and the one thing that I really love to see is how many other artists have embraced this album and have just STANNING for her, you never see that in this industry but it was nonstop yesterday, that in itself says a heck of a lot about Alicia as an artist and as a person. I can’t wait to see Girl on Fire evolve.

LOVE HER NEW ALBUM. This is mature SOUL for the grown folks. I love how introspective she is with her music and in her interviews. I’ve always loved her.

*sigh* Hmm… No wonder her new album was released during the cold season. “Girl on Fire” needs to be changed to “Girl on Ice.” :)

Funny how RCA obviously gave all of their money to this project in particular and the first week sales are underwhelming. Maybe if they did what they are supposed to, support their ARTIST(S), then they would be in better shape for this year. There’s no reason why Usher should have rushed that album out, there’s no reason why Chris Brown should have sold so little, and there’s most Definitely no reason why Brandy has not sold more. One can argue that the state of music does not cater to R&B and blah blah blah, but it can if the record companies take a chance and do what they’re there for. brandy has one of the best contemporary r&b albums out….why isn’t she promoting. Where’s her team? rCA needs to do some spring cleaning before they get into some situations they can’t get out of…

@YEAKELLY, first of all RCA can afford to spend money on Alicia’s project because they don’t have to pay out large sums of money for Production and writing, she does it HERSELF. Hence!!! their ability to use their budget on massive promotion. When you have to pay out producers and writers it takes away a big chunk of your budget for your album, and don’t let those numbers fool you. HDD has ALWAYS been off with Alicia Keys numbers, they were off by 200k for AIA and 100K for TEOF, they cannot pinn down her numbers because the people who buy her music, actually goes out and purchases the CD, her audience is not massive on the downloading end, so those numbers come in slower than itune numbers and even with that, her album has been sitting at #1 on the itune charts since 2 hours after it was released at 12 midnight on Tuesday, that means it is steadily being purchased, and the GOF single is 150,000 away from selling 1 million copies. Check Brandy’s album for writing and production credits and that will answer your question.
