New Music: Chris Brown – ‘W.T.F.I.M.L. (Where the F**k Is My Lighter)’

W.T.F.I.M.L.

Chris Brown may have deleted his Twitter page, but he hasn’t forgotten about Team Breezy. The singer releases a new song via his website Mechanical Dummy. On “W.T.F.I.M.L. (Where the Fuck Is My Lighter),” he searches for a spark so he can blow off some steam.

“Where the fuck is my lighter?/ I wanna light up, throw my drink in the fire,” an Auto-Tuned Breezy sings over a hypnotizing electro-infused beat.

Unwind with the laid-back joint.

@ann, wrong I’m never jealous just honest he’s always releasing this techno electro trash shit and wonders why NOBODY buys his albums. I love Fortune album tbh I support good music but just as I said before male singers league is dying down even Usher isn’t selling and he always sells so don’t make it seem as if I’m only coming for Breezy come I’m coming for everyone I just don’t like that Breezy is so repetitive and wonders why he fails on album sales. OH ok.. but as I said before REAL music makes a difference not easy trash hits promoted into the atmosphere

@tokyo, THEN AGAIN WHY DO YOU BOTHER CLICKING ON THE PLAY BUTTON IF YOU KNOW HIS MUSIC IS TRASH? you contradicting yourself, if i don’t care about someone actions I DON’T BOTHER CHECKING ON THAT PERSON, this just means that like what he is doing and you are mad at yourself for liking him that why you rather be mean than appreciative of what he is doing although deep down you know you like it. People please just stop checking on people you supposedly don’t like cuz you look rather jealous and envious. U don’t like it find, go listen someone else nobody force you to be here! not trying to be rude :)

@Speechless, Lol. You tried. He managed to be the only R&B artist to have a no.1 album in the US and UK, this year. He managed to pull in one of the most first week sales in the R&B category, this year. He’s won almost every award he was nominated for, this year (including that Grammy). He just got another top ten hit, from Fortune, a few weeks ago (last time that happened was in 2008). Yet, he did NO promo. Where the fuck is your research? Hmmmm. OH.

If he worked as hard making quality music as he did beating Rihanna’s ass he would be pushing lots of numbers and have a platinum album in this time period

shame… another song portraying his hard drug use! He needs to go to rehab and get help. His voice was way stronger although it was never the best. His PR team needs to get the man help!

ohhh here go the eternal irrelevant stalkers who spend their lives trying to destroy while other people are creating and producing…guys while you here killing those fingers of yours on your computer crying me river over his success he is someone right now receiving checks over checks cuz not only he is singer, he writes his own music, produce it, dance, direct etc etc etc and oh before, buying gifts to rihanna too..so my question is WHERE WILL YOU EVER? hit me up when ever u can and will, meanwhile let me be productive and keep listening to this shit…throw my drink in the fire…where the phuck is my lighter..

You know what would of made this song even better, if chris brown cut out that dam autotune.

why in every song, there is no need for it, the beat is banging and if he used his voice it would of been really dope. its still a good song though just wish the autotune would stop.

Dear Chris Brown from one of your loyal fans please hire a real songwriter. I love you but the content of your music lately is beyond basic and hollow and we deserve better. if you can’t write music of substance then please spend the doe and buy it… Signed a loving fan!

    [Reply]

    OMG Reply:

@Tammy, I was thinking the same thing

    [Reply]

    Neysie Reply:

@Tammy, if your a real fan you would know that chris writes the majority of his music. This is just one of his ‘In the moment- mixtape feel tracks’. People are acting like he said its gonna be on the album. No. And as far as substance goes , Dont Judge Me has plenty of that plus a lot of other songs on Fortune.

    Tammy Reply:

@Neysie, I’m very much a real fan and I’m real enough to be honest. I believe in Chris as a writer but I think he needs time and mentoring to grow as a writer or perhaps someone that can help him better express his ideas. I want chris to have another hit record but he needs better songs and unfortunately he is limited and lacks experience where it counts…song writing. I’m not dissing I’m just being real!

First of all, who said he was putting the song on any future album? Second of all, the guy likes writing and making music, some of it, he does for fun, for an album, or just shooting off, alot of yall really need to get your panties out of a bunch! Last I checked, the music is for his fans, alot of you are not fans, you are individuals that sit around all day waiting for something to post about Chris, so you can make hateful comments, no matter what it is! Yall worry about the guy more than his fans, for some people who don’t care, you could have fooled the hell out of me!

There’s nothing wrong with Chris’s songs, Fortune could have just as easily been a hit if ti was properly marketed and by that I mean the kind of marketing that was offered to his fellow R&B stars but we all know that will never happen with the media since they will simply ask him questions about his personal life intead of his art. For someone who is not marketed by his label he seems to be doing just fine.Lastly Chris is 23 he has plenty of time to learn new technics and improve apon his writing skills but like any song writer he will have his hits and misses. #DON’TJUDGETHEMANTOOHARSHLY.

    Spot Reply:

@Arie, food for thought…Chris Brown proudly takes credit for writing songs like Forever and Disturbia well before his current age of 23 but in the last 3 years and with plenty to write about he has yet to produce anything even remotely close to the success or quality of those two songs! Sooooo just using common sense and comparing this song to either of the two mentioned above either 1). Chris is lying and didn’t write those songs and is just taking credit for them or 2). Chris is lying and didn’t write those songs and is just taking credit for them…one or the other is true! Just because his name is on the booklet doesn’t mean he penned it himself!
