« Game Gets Dr. Dre’s Stamp of Approval for ‘Jesus Piece’Jamie Foxx Hosts ‘SNL,’ Performs ‘Birthday Song’ with 2 Chainz »Ne-Yo Performs on ‘SNL’![]() Live from 30 Rock, it’s Ne-Yo! The R&B gentleman graced the “Saturday Night Live” stage for the first time as musical guest over the weekend. Following an introduction from host Jamie Foxx, Ne-Yo served up a high-energy performance of his top 10 single “Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)” off his new album R.E.D., showing off some fancy footwork alongside his team of dancers. The fedora-clad singer slowed things down later in the show with the acoustic ballad “She Is.” The original version of the song appears on R.E.D. as a duet with country crooner Tim McGraw. Watch both performances below.

I’ve been a Ne-Yo fan from the beginning, a huge fan.
And I can honestly say I’m so disappointed and feel like crying that’s how bad it hurts me.
He should have released “Jealous” as his next single instead of “Forever Now”.
These LMLYUYTLY performances have been horrible all they way around. He quickly should have made a more slow acoustic version of the song for live performances such as this.

@Gucci Ninja, I Think It’s Cause You’ve Been A Fan For So Long That You Expected More Cause I Thought He Did AMAZING From The Singing To The Dancing. *Shurgs*

@KINGHASARRIVED, Ne-Yo is a good live singer, and I was expecting a vocal performance, I guess, I just don’t know anymore. :( He’s always getting these comments like he’s a great dancer now, so I guess he tries to add more of that into the show. It choreographed, it is what it though. :’(

@KINGHASARRIVED, I felt exactly the same way. I have to admit that I didn’t think much of Ne-Yo when I heard his songs on the radio, but he really killed it last night! I am an instant fan after seeing how he can sing that well outside of the studio, and his style was slick. SNL has been bringing out the best in performers lately, and I have saved nearly every performance from this season on my DISH Hopper’s 2TB hard drive. I go back and watch them all the time, like the other day when I showed a coworker at DISH Rihanna’s Diamonds performance from a few weeks ago.

Absolutely slayyed it!! And “She Is” was a flawless performance!!
I’m not here for the 1st comment..yall just downright hated Ne-Yo from the very first time because no fan will talk bad about a flawless King.
The fact that LMLY is #9 on the Billboard 100 this week and peaked at #6 two weeks ago must count for something. People love the song. Aint nobody got time for haters. Its almost 2013,
If u don’t hav e something nice to say STFU :-)

@craig, a true fan will give down right criticism! Not everything he will do will be perfect. And if Ne-Yo didn’t know that then he wouldn’t be where he is now.
I’m sure Ne-Yo would have done away with you cause you could never be truthful when he asked for a honest opinion.
