The legendary James Brown and Tupac Shakur rise up on the posthumous collaboration “Unchained,” which serves as the theme song to Quentin Tarantino’s western Django Unchained, in theaters December 25.
The funky mash-up, mixed by Tupac’s engineer Claudio Cueni, takes 2Pac’s hook from “Untouchable” and places it over the Godfather of Soul’s ’70s joint “The Payback,” adding in gunshots and sound bites from the film.
In addition to the late icons, the soundtrack also features contributions from Rick Ross (“100 Black Coffins”) and John Legend (“Who Did That to You?”).

well this record is really out of mix. They have to fix how this whole track sounds, this track is really off key and mashed up real bad.

it isnt off beat. the flow its difficult to catch by the ones who are familiar to pacs originals. I listened it the other day and it sounded strange to me, but today I listened again and my ears were familiar and it starts to sound as a real masterpiece 2 me.
