« New Music: Anthony Hamilton & Elayna Boynton – ‘Freedom’New Music: Chrisette Michele – ‘Better’ »Bruno Mars Earns Fourth No. 1 Single with ‘Locked Out of Heaven’![]() Move over Rihanna. There’s a new boss on the charts. Bruno Mars tops the Billboard Hot 100 this week with his single “Locked Out of Heaven.”
“Heaven” displaces Rihannna’s “Diamonds,” which reigned at No. 1 for three weeks. The first single off Bruno’s sophomore album Unorthodox Jukebox rises 2-1 in its 10th week on the chart, becoming Bruno’s fourth Hot 100 No. 1 following “Just the Way You Are,” “Grenade,” and “Nothin’ on You,” his collaboration with B.o.B. One of the song’s producers, Mark Ronson, celebrated the good news. “‘Locked Out of Heaven’ = my first Billboard #1. thank you, @BrunoMars, @ringzington @philsmeeze @JeffBhasker @FakeEmile Homer & Nick Mov,” he tweeted. Unorthodox Jukebox is also off to a strong start. The album, which was released this week, currently holds the No. 1 spot on iTunes and is expected to debut atop the Billboard 200 next week with 140-160,000 copies sold. YESSSSSS album sales more than double his debut and he’s going to no.1 in the UK too. I smell a chart double next week if Rihanna doesn’t snatch the Hot 100 lead back. This album has to sell at least 2mil in the US.

@osvaldo, No, ‘Locked out of heaven’ did reach no. 1 on Billboard. They might have not updated it yet, or it might have changed since then, but it did reach no. 1. Happy for Mark Ronson as well :)
