Rap-Up.com || Ashanti Performs ‘This Christmas’ on ‘Live! with Kelly and Michael’

Ashanti spread some holiday cheer when she stopped by “Live! with Kelly and Michael” to perform her cover of Donny Hathaway’s Christmas classic “This Christmas” as part of the show’s “Holiday Hits Week.” Looking festive in red, the R&B diva delivered the cut from her 2003 holiday album Ashanti’s Christmas.

In related news, Ashanti has joined the cast of the Lifetime series “Army Wives.” Look for her new album Braveheart next spring.

I do love both women but I honest like Keyshia’s rendition a whole lot more. Even though Keyshia didn’t know the melody & barely sang it through it suited her voice more.

Her albums coming next spring wtf. The wait for this album is seriously dragging. Might as well go back in the studio and record a whole new album. The Woman You Love didnt do anything on the charts she needs a song with a feature.
